The GA27RT was designed to store a combination of 16 pot, pans and utensils in a small area without the use of a grid and to keep the length under 28 inches.
If you intend to mostly hang your pots and pans on the perimeter and still would like to have a place to hang utensils, please take a look at the HD30B with utensil grid installed.
